Please observe the following guidelines when submitting a proposal:

• Include a stamped, self-addressed envelope and a sufficient amount of postage for the proposal’s return. If you do not include enough postage to return the manuscript, we will recycle it. If you do not include an SASE, we cannot respond.
• Your proposal should be typed, double-spaced, and written in a 12-point (or larger) font.
• Do not send whole manuscripts unless we have asked you to do so. Instead, please send a cover letter, resume, brief synopsis of your book, and several sample chapters. We also accept query letters.
• Write your name and address at the top of your cover letter.
• We primarily represent non-fiction. Although we do occasionally represent commercial fiction, we never represent genre fiction such as sci-fi, fantasy, romance, or children’s books.
• We do not accept any material via email unless we’ve specifically requested it.
• We carefully review all unsolicited manuscripts, so we might take 4-6 weeks to respond to your query.
